![]() My connection with clay started at the University of Minnesota Duluth where Professor Glenn Nelson instilled in me a strong foundation of traditional and historical ceramic methods. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Mankato State University. There, under the guidance of Professors Roy Strassberg and Jim Tanner, I expanded my vision of the sculptural form, drawing creative energy from the shapes of seed pods and shells. I am a full time potter, participating in regional juried exhibitions, wholesaling to select shops and showing by appointment in my studio. To quote a good friend and fellow potter, "I don't make a living at pottery; I live to make pottery." |
